Self-advocate and National Down Syndrome Society DS-Ambassador David Egan has been employed for over two decades. He was the first person with DS to receive the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation Public Policy Fellowship, and he has written an employment guide called, "Valued, Able, and Ready to Work: Employing Individuals with Down syndrome".
