congratulations!
Congratulations on the arrival or upcoming arrival of your beautiful child.
We know this season can bring so many emotions — love, joy, questions, uncertainty, and hope for what comes next. Whether you recently received a prenatal diagnosis or have welcomed a baby with Down syndrome, we want you to know that you are not alone.
At Kern Down Syndrome Network, we are here to welcome your family with support, encouragement, resources, and connection. Our community includes parents and caregivers who understand the journey and are ready to walk alongside you as you begin this new chapter.
Your child is worthy of being celebrated exactly as they are. They will bring their own unique personality, strengths, joy, and purpose into this world — and we would be honored to celebrate them with you.
You do not have to figure this out alone. One of the ways KDSN supports new and expectant parents is by helping families connect with another parent who understands this journey. A Parent Partner can offer encouragement, share experiences, answer questions, and be a steady source of support as you take each next step.
We would also love to provide a special Welcome Gift for your baby as a small way to celebrate your child and welcome your family into the KDSN community.
